After a week-long marathon of behind-the-scenes content from Bit-Blot, everything has culminated in the release of their newest title: Aquaria. The winner of last year’s Independent Games Festival, Aquaria is a 2D, sidescrolling, underwater action experience. The game features hand-painted artwork that’s highly detailed combined with a gorgeous soundtrack to create a majestic atmosphere — […]

Review: Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure

November 18, 2007

Nearly a year has passed since the Wii’s launch, and the biggest complaint has been the lack of quality titles that feature unique use of the Wii remote’s technology while also containing enough depth to keep players captivated for more than five minutes at a time. The Legend of Zelda: Dark Sage

June 16, 2007

Yes, yes, I know–another Nintendo fan film. This one is quite good, though–very good cinematography and timing. This one isn’t part of the Short Cuts contest, though–it’s just sweet. As for me…I should try and write something substantial soon, hm?

Aquaria = OMG!

June 15, 2007

So today I happened by pure chance to stumble upon info regarding an independent game in development by a small company called Bit-Blot. The game is called Aquaria, and is set to hit the seas sometime soon, I’d imagine. This game looks astonishing, so you really should check out all of the stuff I gathered […]

Kid Icarus “Documentary”

June 15, 2007

I happened upon this cool little documentary–another entry into the Short Cuts contest, though this one didn’t make the cut. It’s rather funny, though.
