Brawl Update: Frigate Orpheon

I was pretty pleased to finally see a new Metroid level on the DOJO today…

 

 

And it’s from Metroid Prime, nonetheless. Kick ass.

 

 

 

It’s the space frigate from the beginning of the first Prime title. It has various…issues…like the power going out.

 

 

When you hear the siren, get ready…

 

 

…because the whole stage flips 180 degrees!

 

Jump in the air to prevent yourself from falling, and maybe take advantage of the distraction to kil your foes!

 

 

Now you’re fighting on the ceiling!

 

This stage looks to finally capitalize on some of the creepy metallic interior locales of the Metroid series. ‘Bout time.
